Spa Vacations are a Great Way to Relax on the Jersey Shore

Spa vacations on the Jersey Shore are one of the best ways to relax and unwind from the cares of the world. You don't have to go to California or Arizona to get the best that spa vacations have to offer.

Take advantage of a weekend away from home by booking a room at a wonderful resort and spoil yourself and your honey with facials, massages, mudbaths and more. Nothing will melt away your cares better than a massage and body oil rub or a soak in the jacuzzi.

The Jersey Shore is an ideal location for spa vacations. After spending a few hours on the massage table or soaking in the jacuzzi, you can take advantage of your beautiful surroundings and have a relaxing stroll on the beach. Summer or winter, a rejuvenating walk on the beach, breathing in the fresh salt air will add a new dimension to your spa vacation.

So many Jersey Shore towns have lovely spa resorts to choose from.

You can pick Spring Lake's lovely Chateau Inn, where you will by spoiled by any one of their special packages, from candle lit bubble baths to a full spa day.

Ocean Place Resorts in Long Branch offers a full range of spa services, such as massages (including hand, foot and scalp massages), facials, mud, seaweed and aromatherapy baths, masks, body wraps and "gentlemen services". Don't let the ladies enjoy all the good stuff.

Point Pleasant Beach offers the spectacular White Sands spa and resort, right on their own private oceanfront location. Enjoy face and body treatments after a day on the beach, or just look like you spent a day on the beach with their Fantasy TanĀ® sunless tanning system.

If you don't want to have to choose between a spa and a gambling weekend, you don't have to. You can spend a weekend at the Seaview Spa in Galloway Township, minutes from Atlantic City. At the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa, all the amenities of this well known spa is right on site, to relax you after a rough day at the tables.

All of the spas and resorts on the Jersey Shore are easy to travel to from New York and Philadelphia. From New York, you don't even have to drive! Just grab a ferry from New York to Highlands, New Jersey, and you can spend your Friday night having a Thai message at Seascape Manor instead of commuting. They'll pick you up at the ferry.

Spring Lake, Long Branch and Point Pleasant Beach are all on the North Jersey Coast commuter railway line. It is a long ride, and can be crowded on a Friday night, but for you city types without a car, it is still the best way to get away for a special treat!
