That is a very partial list. There are over 120 stores in these great Jersey Shore outlets, so if you don't find what you want, then you don't know what you want. Don't forget that clothing is not taxed in New Jersey, so if you come from New York or Pennsylvania, you are saving 8.875% and 6% respectively. That much in savings may just mean another adorable Juicy Couture outfit!
Jersey Shore Outlets is minutes from the great beaches of Ocean Grove, Spring Lake, Asbury Park, Avon, Manasquan, Belmar and Bradley Beach. For a rainy day, or just for a new outfit for a date with the hottie you met on the beach yesterday, this is the place to go. Miniature golf is OK, but nothing says vacation like showing off your tan in a great new sundress from Juicy Couture.
The Outlets are easy to reach, since they are right off route 66 in Tinton Falls. From any of the beaches, head west to Route 35. (Which is a great highway, by the way. It runs parallel to the ocean, so you can never be lost if you stick to Route 35. All you have to do is head east and you are on the beach, any beach!) Take Route 35 North to Route 33, go under the Garden State Parkway Overpass to Route 66. If, poor thing, you are not at the beach, take the GSP to Exit 100A and follow the signs to Route 66 East. From Route 18,from the north take the 15A exit to Route 66 and from the south,take the 10B exit to Route 66. If you are anywhere near the vicinity, you cannot miss the gigantic sign.
The Outlet stores are open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 9pm, Sunday from 10-7, but in the summer May 31 to August 30), they are open on Sunday until 9pm, so you can pick up that last little jewel of a bargain on your way home. One down side to the Outlets is that there is no really nice place to have lunch or dinner, or even a snack. Auntie Ann's pretzels or Nathan's hot dogs don't really do it for me. It would be nice if there were a cute little coffee shop with outdoor tables where you could sit and gloat over your wonderful finds.
